This work shop is for you if you are:

  • in the thick of healing, scared to heal, grieving, stuck, on the other side or somewhere in the middle

  • looking for a place to create, share your art, see and be seen, listen and be held, get inspired, release or try something new

  • into poetry and like discovering new poets, ideas, and words

  • an artist, doodler, facilitator, bonafide businessperson, amateur writer, published author, activist, poet… you are welcome in this space if you’ve never published a single word, or if you are working on book twelve. Your words are absolutely worthy of this space and I will make sure you believe this throughout the workshop

  • someone who identifies with having imposter syndrome and you are ready to claim your space AND are maybe a little afraid of what is lingering outside your comfort zone

  • ready to settle into an intimate online space that might activate big feelings, and are ready to be seen and held through it all

  • looking to connect virtually with other writers, poets, artists, and open hearted humans from all walks of life

  • someone who thinks collaboration is better than competition <3

  • willing to listen with your whole heart while someone reads their work out loud

  • open to the idea of sharing your work in a safe, closed, sacred container

This workshop is not for you if you are:

  • unable to handle being exposed to other people’s tender spots. If this is you, that’s okay. There are lots of other spaces for you to grow. This space may not be right for you right now

  • unable to be in the same room with big emotions right now. Again, if this is you, this is okay. There are lots of ways for you to be supported until you are ready

  • interested in stifling someone else’s process or creativity

  • racist, homophobic, transphobic, or are planning on using any hate speech of any kind

  • not willing to listen or not open to the idea of being invited to share your work (you always have a choice!)

  • someone who isn’t ready to honour quiet spaces

  • looking for a space to pitch yourself/your business or looking to market yourself - this is not that space

  • not into poetry (we read a lot of poetry)

  • looking to get an education on poetry or for an open discussion about a particular poem, this is not that kind of workshop… although there are a lot of good workshops out there that you might enjoy!
