The Doula of Words was born from my own experience of bringing a book into the world — from the first messy pages to the final published copy. Becoming an author is about so much more than putting words on a page… it’s a process of discovery, revision, courage, and trust.
I’ve been on the other side of that process ever since, helping writers nurture their ideas, find their voices, shape their stories, and bring their books to life. If you’ve got a story to tell, I want to stand beside you while you do the work, offering guidance, perspective, and the gentle push you need to get it into the world.

I can support you as you write and publish your book.
Maybe you’re like me, and you’ve written in a diary almost every day since you were 10 years old. Maybe you’ve been working on your book for years, but need an accountability buddy to help see it through. Maybe you’re ready to share your story with the world, or… maybe you’re terrified. Maybe you’ve got an amazing story to share but don’t know where to start. Maybe you need some inspiration. Maybe the idea of writing your story makes you feel like you’re too much. Maybe you’ve been discouraged from sharing your poetry, art, or words with the world.
Maybe you don’t identify as a writer at all, and maybe that is holding you back. Or maybe you feel completely lost after late-night googling the phrase: “How To Publish A Book.” (I’ve been there!)
Writing and publishing my book was unlike any experience of my life. My first draft was 75% completed in just a few weeks but then the fear sunk in. I took some time off and kept coming back to it. I wrote a little bit every single day and then when I had my finished manuscript sitting in front of me, the really daunting question came:
Now What?!?!
I’m here to support you through those daunting moments. My promise as the Doula of Words is to make your labour (of love) less lonely. I will be here for you when your big idea comes, while you’re writing it all down, and after the birth of your story.
